Is installation easy?
Yes. The lamp mounts to a standard ceiling outlet and the 100 cm cord can be shortened while you install it, so you set the drop height yourself.
What materials are used?
Natural bamboo, split into thin strips and woven by hand in two layers over a form. No stain and no lacquer sheen — the tone deepens a little with age.
Will it work on US 110 V?
Yes. The fixture is rated 90–260 V, which covers North American 110–120 V mains as well as 220–240 V in Europe, the UK and Australia. No converter needed.
How high should I hang it above a table?
Around 75–85 cm above the tabletop. Over a nightstand, most people drop it to roughly 45–60 cm above the surface.
Will my shade look exactly like the photos?
The shape and dimensions are identical, but the weave is set by hand and natural bamboo shifts in tone between batches. The density and direction of the lattice will be slightly its own.
