Do I need to cut a hole in the ceiling?
No. This is a surface-mounted fixture: the base plate screws to a standard ceiling outlet and the light sits flush on top. No recess and no false ceiling needed.
How big is it really?
40 cm across and 4 cm deep — about the width of a vinyl sleeve. Next to a standard 200 cm door it is roughly one fifth of the height, so it stays discreet on the ceiling.
Will it work on my mains voltage?
Yes. The driver is rated 110–240 V, which covers US 110–120 V as well as European and UK 220–240 V. There is only one version and no adapter is needed.
Which light colour should I choose?
Warm White 3000K for bedrooms and living rooms. Cool White 6000K for hallways, home offices and studies. Tri-Colour Dimmable if you would rather switch between warm, neutral and cool from the wall switch.
Can I change the light colour later?
Warm White and Cool White are fixed, so pick the one you want before ordering. Only the Tri-Colour Dimmable version switches between the three settings.
Do I ever have to replace a bulb?
No. The 28 W LED is integrated and rated for many thousands of hours, so there is no socket and no bulb to swap.
Is it bright enough for a whole room?
It is rated for 5–10 m² / 54–108 sq ft, which covers a normal bedroom, home office or hallway on its own. In a larger living room use it as the main ceiling light alongside a lamp or two.
