Where the brass meets the glass
The ribbed collar screws directly onto the glass, with the twisted fabric cord leaving straight out of the top. No cover plate, no plastic sleeve, no visible fixings — just machined metal against a hard edge of glass.

Should I take it with or without a light source?
With the LED is the simple option — a warm 4 W Edison filament that suits the clear glass and is ready to switch on. Choose without if you already have a specific bulb in mind, for example a different colour temperature or a dimmable one.
How low can I hang it?
The cord adjusts up to 1.5 metres, which covers everything from a low bedside drop to a standard ceiling above a dining table. It is shortened during installation.
Is installation easy?
It is a single-point ceiling connection, so it is a quick job — but it is still mains wiring. If you are not confident with that, have an electrician do it.
Can I hang several together?
Yes. Because the shade is small, two or three at staggered heights read as one piece rather than a crowd — that is how it looks best above a longer table.
Will the clear glass glare?
You do see the filament, which is the point of the design. Pair it with a warm, low-wattage bulb (the 4 W LED version is exactly that) and it stays comfortable rather than harsh.
How do I clean the glass?
A soft dry cloth, or a barely damp one for fingerprints on the brass. Let it cool first and avoid abrasive cleaners on the fitting.
